REFUND & EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

NECA DC wants members to be completely satisfied with every purchase they make. If members are in any way dissatisfied with a NECA DC product, service, or event they paid, the Chapter will exchange it, replace it or refund the amount paid for the purchase. Just let us know about the problem, and we’ll take care of it.

EVENT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The NECA Washington, D.C. Chapter (NECA DC) reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If the Chapter withdraws a registration, the registrant will be offered a refund.

EVENT CANCELLATION BY CHAPTER

NECA DC reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If NECA DC cancels an event, we will offer registrants full refund. Should situations arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

In the case of inclement weather, the Chapter office follows the Fairfax County Public School schedule. If an event is canceled or the Chapter office is closed, it will be posted on the Chapter website. For our regional events, if the schools in that jurisdiction are closed, the event is canceled. For example, if the event is scheduled to be held at the JATC facility in Lanham, Maryland and Prince George’s County Schools are closed on the morning of the event, the event is canceled.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANT

Unless explicitly stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for individual registration is three business days (72 hours) before the event.

Refund and the amount to refund will be at the discretions of the Chapter for cancellations received after the stated deadline, and for registrants who choose not to attend the event.

These above policies apply to all NECA DC events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
