The Board of Directors of the Washington DC Chapter, NECA have voted to implement a restructured reimbursement policy to be adopted effective January 1, 2023 for all members.
With greater value-added services provided to our membership than ever before, a projected increase in our educational budget, the implementation of new social events, and with an expectation of membership growth, the Board felt this was a necessary, proactive step in continuing the strong financial health of our chapter.
The policy will be as follows:
- The Chapter will offer a Reimbursement up to $4,000.00 per contractor per NECA National Event – NECA NOW, NECA Eastern Region Conference and NECA National Convention. 1
- The amount of reimbursement per event will continue to be set by the DC NECA Board of Directors and notification will be mailed to all members at the beginning of each calendar year.
- Maximum amount of reimbursement will not exceed $4000.00 per event (Spring/Fall) per Member Company, and the annual maximum amount of reimbursement will not exceed $8,000.00 per Member Company.
- No member shall receive a reimbursement more than the amount of Service Charge paid into the Chapter for the previous year.
- For new members, the Board of Directors have the discretion to authorize a reimbursement until full qualification standards are met
- Members seeking reimbursement for attendance must submit a completed copy of the Member Reimbursement Request Form (available on the Chapter website) and a copy of all receipts for which reimbursement is being requested. Instructions can be found on the request form.

- Note – Reimbursement will only be paid to a member firm upon registration and attendance as a Member of the Washington DC Chapter at said events.
